Other Info:
Registeration:
If you go to register by mail and print out the sheet you're supposed to send back, at the bottom there should be a code (on mine it's 'CRA-CNG3744AE', don't know if it's always this code for every installation). My regitstration code is thus 'EA44'. Just take the last 4 digits and reverse.
After registering the CD the program still requests registration whenever another CD is put in.
Goto Start, Find, Files or Folders
Type NGARCHIV.INI in the named box, where it says look in change this to C:/
Press Find Now
It should find the file below
Right click on it and choose cut
Close the find files window
Double click on My Computer
C:/
Double click the windows folder
press ctrl and v together
run the program
This will prevent the registration screen from appearing when the program is launched.
What resolution were the pages scanned in at.
The images were scanned at 24-bits per pixel. Most double page images stored at about 600*900 pixels before compression using Photoshop.
Under Win98 during the install the error 'ININST30: this program has perforomed an illegal operation....' appears.
1) click on start and select run
2) type MSCONFIG
3) click OK
4) Choose Selective start up
5) Remove the check mark next to Load start up group items.
6) ckick OK
7) Restart computer.
Install program.
Now follow steps 1-7 again to return your computer back to its orginal configuation, only this time SELECTING the check mark against Load start
up group items.
Hope some of this helps.
