How to install inventor 11 using the ZWT crack
Part 1: Installing Inventor 11
1) Insert DVD and wait for the autorun to kick in, or start setup.exe directly
2) Click once in the yellow window and select the first tab ("installation"). Choose "Autodesk Inventor 11 products installation"
3) Select "Step 2: Install Autodesk ..."
4) When asked by the setup wizard, select "standalone user"
5) When the wizard shows a table with available products (Inventor, Mechanical Desktop, Vault, ...) , select "options" in the first row (Inventor); specify "Network license"!
6) Continue the setup wizard and start the installation. When prompted for the key, enter 123-12345678
Part 2: Installing the crack and configuring the license server
7) After installation has finished, import "oddity.reg" into the registry by double clicking. This file is located in the \Crack\ directory
8) Copy "invadlm.dll" to C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 11\Bin\ and overwrite the existing file
9) Copy the "FlexLM" directory to "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\FlexLM", and start "lmtools.exe" from there
10) In lmtools, on tab "Service/License File", select "Configuration using services" and "LMTOOLS ignores..."
11) On tab "System settings", look at "Computer/Hostname". Remember this name!
12) Start notepad, open "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\FlexLM\autodesk.dat" and replace "" wit your computername
13) Go back to lmtools, tab "Config Services". Enter an arbitrary "Service name" if empty, or use the default value if supplied
14) Make "Path to the lmgrd.exe file" point to "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\FlexLM\Lmgrd.exe", and "Path to licence file" to "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\FlexLM\autodesk.dat"
15) Select "Start server at power up" and "use services". Now click on "Save Service" to save your changes!
16) Go to tab "Start/Stop/Reread", select the appropriate service and click on "Start Server". If all goes well, "Server Start Successful." should be displayed on the bottom line
Part 3: Starting Inventor 11
17) Now start "Inventor 11" from the start menu or use the shortcut on your desktop.
18) Inventor might ask for a license. Specify the license file "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\FlexLM\autodesk.dat" or specify the license service using "2080@your_computer_name"
Notes:
- If you're using a firewall, then make sure that inventor has access to the "trusted zone". Inventor needs to communicate with the license server on your pc. I've allowed these programs access to the trusted zone: adskflex, adsknetsrv, lmgrd, inventor, connectivity...jobdispatch and connectivity ...server. None of these programs need access to the internet, such as SQLserv.mon.
- I've encountered some .rar files on emule containing this crack, containing spyware! Beware for this. If there's a setup.exe included then delete it. You don't need this file.
- Two version of the crack are circulating: one using license.lic and one using autodesk.dat. I've used the latter, but I guess the procedure is almost the same. I haven't verified this though!
