Edit restricted PDF files - Adobe DRM security (Ebook ed

Hey everyone, I have an ebook/magazine that I just bought and I want to copy the pictures out of it: www.direct2drive.com/294/product/Girls-of-Gaming-Issue-03-w/-Bonus-Mature-Content I have it downloaded which means I have the user name and password, I can open it but it wont let me edit it. I cant select anything or copy anything in the document. I tried to turn off the security but it wont let me change anything. Here is what the security is on it:
I have Acrobat Pro 7.0
Scurity Method: Adobe DRM
Printing: Allowed
Changing the Document: Not Allowed
Document Assembly: Not Allowed
Content Copying or Extrction: Not Allowed
Content Extraction for Accessibility: Allowed
Commenting: Allowed
Filling of form fields: Not Allowed
Signing: Not Allowed
Creatoin of Templete Pages: Not Allowed
I have used:
Elcomsoft Advanced Pdf Password Recovery Pro v2.20 - it comes up saying that it the file has EBX_HANDLER and the program can not do anything with that.
GSveiw 4.7 - an error comes up saying: /undefined in pdf_process_Encryp
I found this:
Get Ghostscrip (www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/doc/AFPL/get814.htm)
1- Install Ghostscript
2- Go into the gs\gs8.14\lib directory and find the file called: gs_pdfwr.ps
3- Change all: currentdevice .devicename /pdfwrite eq {
To this: currentdevice .devicename /pdfwritexxx eq {
If you are using win, and get a gswin32c.exe not found, then edit: ps2pdfxx.bat
Just change the path parameter to the absolute address (c:\gs\gs8.14\bin\gswin32c) or create the environment variable %GSC%

Open your file in Acrobat
Print it with following settings:
a. printer: Adobe PDF (Adobe's own installed printer)
b. print to file checked
c. printer properties:
- adobe PDF security: leave on none (we ARE trying to make it without limitations)
- uncheck the "Do not send fonts to Adobe PDF": if you don't do it, then it won't print or you'll lose all OCR and font information
d. check the preview if it looks good or need to be adjusted
4. click OK, then give an output filename with full path (eg.: c:\whatever.ps)
5. wait while it finishes
6. run: ps2pdf14
7. again wait while it finishes (hopefully without any errors)
After I create the .ps file from the encrypted .pdf file I have it says "run: ps2pdf14 ", how exactly do I run this? If anyone has any clue how to do this let me know or if you know of another way I can copy everything from this let me know. Again, I dont need the password or user name, I just need to get rid of the security so I can copy and paste the pictures into Photoshop CS.

Just did it. I followed the print advice and saved it as a .ps file, then I went into gsview and opened the .ps then I did "convert" and converted each page into a .jpg file. A bit of a pain but at least I have them so I can edit the pages. Might work for any other ebook if you cant seem to get any of the security features off.
