PS2 DVD BURNING
First, open up Primo DVD and go to the bottom of the screen and click on GO TO FULL APPLICATIONS button.
A new screen will appear, in this screen go to the menu at the top and select TOOLS
After you have done that, a drop down menu will appear. Click on DRIVES TUNING
A window will appear and in here you MUST turn off the AUTO INSERT NOTIFICATION. After you have clicked on the AUTO INSERT NOTIFICATION OFF button, go to the top of the window and click on SAVE CHANGES AND REBOOT NOW
Now your ready to begin!!!!
In the full applications window, click on your dvd-r drive located on the left side of the screen as shown below
A disc explorer will appear at the top of the job layout options as shown here:
Click on the disc explorer and a new window will pop up as shown below:
In here you can extract the game using GLOBAL IMAGE(.GI FILE) OR EXTRACT TRACK( .ISO FILE) The only difference of these two is the file extensions at the end. This doesnt affect the game in any way. The choice is up to you.
In here, I chose GLOBAL IMAGE and a field appeared to name the image that we are going to extract. Name the image to what the game is. And after a few minutes you will have ps2 image ready to burn!!!!
Open up Primo DVD and make sure that the Auto Insert Notification is turned off and that the Autorun Shield is turned on as shown below:
Next, click on the Global-Image or Other Image as shown below:
Now, click on the Browse button shown here:
And select your image file, which will either be .gi file(Global Image) or and .iso file(ISO Image) and click open to load it into Primo DVD as shown below:
Make sure that you see the correct image that youre trying to burn loaded into the box as shown here:
Your next step is to double-click on your DVD-R Drive to select it as shown below:
Now, select TEST ONLY from the drop down menu as shown below:
After you have done that, press the GO button to start the testing process of your ps2 image burn as shown below:
After you have pressed the GO button, a small window screen will appear confirming your selection. To confirm your selection just hit the GO button again or if you decide to cancel your selection, just hit the CANCEL button below the GO button as shown below:
If you decide to watch the progress of your tests and burns, just look at the indicator bar highlighted here in green as shown below:
After a few minutes of testing and IF your test was successful, change the option in the drop down menu from TEST ONLY to RECORD as shown below:
After you have done that, all you need to do now is hit the GO button and wait about 20-45 minutes depending on the TOC File(meaning size) of the game shown here:
Finally, after you have done everything correctly you will see the COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY prompt as shown below and now you have a perfect ps2 dvd copy..enjoy and happy gaming!!!!!
