Licensing
AVG Anti-Virus plus Firewall Beta version comes with a predefined license number. This number expires on June 15th 2005. The license number is contained within the installation package.

If you are not currently using an AVG product and would like to evaluate the AVG Anti-Virus plus Firewall Beta Version, follow these steps:

Download the installation package below
Start the AVG Anti-Virus plus Firewall installation
Downloading instructions for current users of the paid or trial version of AVG Professional Edition
If you are currently using the paid or trial version of AVG Professional Edition and would like to evaluate the AVG Anti-Virus plus Firewall Beta Version, the Beta license number will override your current license number. You will need your original license number in order to reinstall and return to your AVG Anti-Virus when you finish evaluating the AVG Anti-Virus plus Firewall Beta version. The license number can be found in the e-mail in which you have received the original AVG Anti-Virus license. Follow these steps to begin the evaluation:

Download the installation package for AVG Anti-Virus plus Firewall
Start the AVG Anti-Virus plus Firewall installation
During the installation, select the add/remove components installation option
Copy and paste the Beta license number in the appropriate setup wizard dialog
Make sure that the Firewall component is selected in the setup wizard dialog
Finish the installation

If you are using AVG Free and would like to evaluate the AVG Anti-Virus plus Firewall Beta Version, follow these steps:
Download the latest AVG Free installation package
Start the installation of AVG Free
Choose the -uninstall- option and follow the setup wizard
Restart your computer
Download and read the AVG Anti-Virus plus Firewall user manual
Download the installation package for AVG Anti-Virus plus Firewall
Start the AVG Anti-Virus plus Firewall installation
During the installation, make sure that the Firewall component is selected in the setup wizard dialog
Finish the installation
* To return to using AVG Free, uninstall AVG Anti-Virus plus Firewall. Check that you have the latest version of the AVG Free installation package and install AVG Free.
