Open the ansys.dat in the crack dir and chage "name" to your computer name
and "000000000000" to your computer hostid. Save the file and do not apply
the keygen at this point. See below the reason.
Install the Work Bench Produts 7.1. At the end of the installation you will be prompted to
install the license server, hit OK. After that hit YES twice. When prompted for the license
file, point the browser to the ansys.dat. The reasen not to create a license file above is that
kegen converts ansys.dat to license .dat. The license sernver setup won't accept the
license.dat file.
The license server creates a dir C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing. Copy
the ansys.exe, and keygen.bat from the crack dir to this dir. Now run the
keygen.bat. This will create license.dat
From C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\intel run the lmtools.exe.
Chose Cofiguration using services. Hit Config Services tab. For the path of lmgrd.exe
choose:C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\intel\lmgrd.exe. For the path of
license.dat choose:C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\license.dat.
Path for the log file is optional. Check Use services and hit save services. Hit
Strat/Stop/Reread tab. Hit start server. if everthig is done accordigly you get
a message saying the server started succesfully. Now you can run the Work Bench
application
