This concert was recorded with an Aiwa AM-F80 minidisc along with an early '90s Aiwa tie-clip stereo mic clipped to a baseball cap. My position was centered, 13th-14th row, and the recording level was at position 03/20, since I didn't have a bass roll-off filter or proper equipment for a good arena recording. Nevertheless, except the crowd noise (that I wasn't able to avoid due to the omnidirectionality of the mic) AND for the 2-3 first tracks worth of initial mosh pit and adjustments, the sound of the last 13 remaining tracks is acceptable, if not rather good (ok, I've been trying to improve the sound for some hours, so I really hope it's been worthwhile ;)). Anyhow, judge for yourselves...
The fixes I've made are not too relevant: I've deleted some screaming from my part between songs (sorry for that ;)) and normalized the levels (sometimes to peak level, sometimes to average rms power level, though in the end I've normalized the whole bunch in Nero). At last, but not the least, each of the 'normalizing' steps where preceded by a graphic EQ correction with the intention to boost the high frequencies a bit...
