Once the software is installed, reboot as requested.
1/ Copy all files from the crack archive into the directory C:\Softimage\FLEXLM\licenses\
2/ Open a command prompt and CD to the C:\Softimage\FLEXLM\licenses directory
3/ in the command prompt type:-
lmutil lmhostid -ether
note down the 12 digit number returned in the command prompt
4/ using a text editor, edit the Softimage.lic file to change hostname (after SERVER)
to either localhost or the correct network name of your machine, and modify the 12
digit 000000000000 to the 12 digit number returned earlier in step 3. Save the file
over the existing Softimage.lic file.
5/ return to the command prompt and type:-
si -i Softimage.lic -o softimage.lic
this completes the license creation procedure.
Start DS in the usual way
