# Issue running Video2Photo on Windows XP with SP2-
There is a way to get Video2Photo running on Windows XP SP2. Here is an excerpt form an e-mail
received from a certain David L.:
Dear Dan,
I wanted to let you know that I have found a fix. Sort of like a monkey randomly hitting keys, I right-clicked on the V2P icon, clicked 'properties' then clicked 'compatibility.' I then tried
emulating Windows '98, but that didn't do anything--however, on the same menu is a box followed by
"Turn off advanced text services for this program." I ticked the box and Voila! It started working.
I don't understand it, but I'm up and running.
If not, try this PLUS the Windows 2000-compatibility modus: those 2
together might work!
