How to disable the SaveNow and Newdotnet Spyware programs (that install themselves when you install Beashare):
To remove SaveNow: click on the Start button on your taskbar, go to Find, and then to Files or Folders.
In window that comes up, type into the "Named" space the word Savenow and start the search on your
hard drive. A list of files and folders pertaining to Savenow will appear. Select them all, and delete them.
To disable the Newdotnet spyware: click on the Start button on your taskbar, then click on the Run option.
In the "Open" space, type the word msconfig and click the OK button. A window will appear with
various options. Click the Startup tab at the top, and search through the list for the Newdotnet line.
When you find it, click on the box with the checkmark in it to unselect the software from starting up
when you turn on your computer. Then click the OK button, and restart your computer.
Let's hope that the Bearshare developers find a new way to make some money other than
loading down their clients with intrusive programs.
