Bypassing the Rapidshare hour limit
I've just found it on the Net. I have not tested it myself, but it already been proven to be correct. I'll try it now.
You need:
o A registry editor (type for instance "regedit" in a command console)
o A directory browser to the directory containing your cookies.
mine is "C:\Documents and Settings\%%%my_name_here%%%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files".
Select the listing of hidden files and directory in your directory browser (Tools -> Directories Options).
Select also the printing of files in terms of last modifications.
o A proxy list.
The tip is the following for each file:
o Set a new proxy for your browser,
o Delete the last RS cookie
o Open a new copy of your internet browser and use it to dl the file you want (this is because the registry seems to be read only at the beginning of the execution of the browser).
Now how to set a proxy:
In the registry window go to the folder:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Mcft\Windows\CurrentVersion\InternetSettings
You need two new keys in this folder to use a proxy
(New key and Modify in Edition menu):
ProxyEnable has to be of DWORD type with a value equal to 1,
ProxyServer has to be of character string type.
The value is the expansion of the proxy address, for instance "64.71.148.68:80" (80 is the port of this particular proxy).
When finished, do not forget to delete the ProxyServer key, if you do not want to use proxies anymore
(ProxyEnable can be kept).
