START THE GAME
Start the game, select the "Personnel Jacket" link, type in your Username and Password, and click "Log In." Once your transmission has been completed, choose the "TRAINING" link. Login at the "Personnel Jacket" link each time you return to play America's Army.
COMPLETE BASIC TRAINING
Before you can deploy to multiplayer gameplay, you must first complete the 4 Basic Training Missions: Marksmanship, Obstacle Course, US Weapons Familiarization, and MOUT (Military Operations in Urban Terrain). Once you have successfully completed these 4 missions, you have graduated from Basic Training and are ready to go online and deploy to Tours of Duty.
DEPLOYMENT
Once you've completed Basic Training, select the "Deployment" link to participate in any number of multiplayer missions. During these multiplayer missions, you will deploy as a member of real-world U.S. Army organizations, ranging from the 172nd Separate Infantry Brigade, 82nd Ranger Regiment, and 75th Ranger Regiment, to name but a few. Please note: some deployments require additional training, such as Airborne School or Medic Training. In America's Army, much like the U.S. Army, training is essential!
Americas Army is protected by PunkBuster Online Countermeasures. PunkBuster is integrated into our game to offer the best cheating protection possible to ensure fair-play on our "Official" game servers.
NOTE: In order to connect and play on PunkBuster protected servers, new users must ENABLE PunkBuster individually from within the game. You can do this by clicking the "Enable PunkBuster" check-box located on the Internet Server Browser screen in the lower right corner of the screen. The Server Browser is located in the "Deployment" section of the game's user interface.
