ok this is just for the main weapon in the kit im still working on the other stuff like abilities and mini items.
1- make 2 folders: 1 named original and 2 named altered
2- go into the Battlefield 2142 folder in your program files
3- then go (mods > bf2142 > objects) and you should see a bunch of rar files if you dont go dl winrar then come back
4- ok now open the Kits_server zip file
5- you should see 3 folders: ai, EU, and PAC for getting started purposes lets open the EU folder
6- open the EU folder and you will see all the classes and 2 files in the middle you dont have to worry about
7- extract all the files but the 2 to the folder you made at the begining named original
8 - ok now go into the original folder and open EU_Assult.con with notepad
9- now near the top you will see:
ObjectTemplate.addTemplate Knife
ObjectTemplate.addTemplate eu_handgun
ObjectTemplate.addTemplate unl_lar_rifle
ObjectTemplate.addTemplate unl_hub_medic
ObjectTemplate.addTemplate item_dummy
ObjectTemplate.addTemplate eu_ar_Shotgun
rem weapon number 6
rem weapon number 7
rem weapon number 8
ObjectTemplate.addTemplate ParachuteLauncher
this is your kit for the EU assult class
10 - now go about half way down the file and you should see
ObjectTemplate.create ItemContainer UnlockEU_AssaultLight3
ObjectTemplate.addTemplate unl_har_rifle
ObjectTemplate.replaceItem eu_ar_rifle
ObjectTemplate.replaceItem unl_best_buy_rifle
ObjectTemplate.unlockLevel 3
ObjectTemplate.create ItemContainer UnlockEU_AssaultMedic3
ObjectTemplate.addTemplate unl_lar_rifle
ObjectTemplate.replaceItem eu_ar_rifle
ObjectTemplate.replaceItem unl_best_buy_rifle
ObjectTemplate.unlockLevel 3
ObjectTemplate.unlockBranch UB_Second
these are the 2 other weapons for the assult just worry about the name (unl_har_rifle and unl_lar_rifle) for now
11- now go back to the top to our kit you should look for eu_ar_rifle
12- now replace eu_ar_rifle with one of the other 2 names (unl_har_rifle or unl_lar_rifle) then save the file into the modified folder you made and make sure it is named EU_Assault.con
13. now open up the kits_server.zip file and go into eu and drag and drop the file you made into there and it will zip it up and replace
