Autodesk Map 3D 2006 has a host of new features,

Use the newly improved Display Manager to create

MapBooks automates the production of map books for use

variety of ways, including AutodeskDWFfile
formats, which can be viewed by anyone using the free*
DWF viewer. Work more productively with new menus and
toolbars that enable you to find and organize the
functions and commands you use most frequently. For
greater power and flexibility in working with complex
data sets from multiple sources, take advantage of new
and improved Feature Data Object (FDO) providers that
let you tap into data objects, even while offline,
including ArcSDEdata. Finally, use the new and
expanded .NET API (application programming interface)
to develop point solutions that automate and enhance
your unique workflow and business p
rocesses.

Unzip, unrar and run setup.bat. Start the installation
and when asked enter as a serial number:
191-75444444
After installation is finished run the program, when
asked select 'Activate the product' and then 'Enter an
activation code'. Copy your request code into provided
keymaker to generate authorization code for your
installation.
You need to have Microsoft .NET Framework with SP1
installed (it was ripped from the setup) before you
try to install Map 3D, to bypass checking/installing
additional components start the setup through .msi
file.
